Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts
- Help to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
- Help to prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits
- Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least one year of working experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
- Previous internship or work experience in an accounting-related field
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry and related accounting practices is an added advantage.
Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 / month.
