Job Title: Head, Network Performance

About the Job

  • Responsible for monitoring, managing and ensuring the optimal performance of Airtel Network and also ensuring the QoS reporting on the network.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Operations and Maintenance of Network elements.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs on daily basis and make changes to improve QoS.
  • Monitor and drive the reduction/elimination of BSS active alarms in the network.
  • Track Infrastructure Capacity, Performance Analysis & solution definition.
  • Drive the use of various BSS features for improving and optimizing the performance of the network.
  • Responsible for any quality/KPI impacting changes introduced to the network or to any to any changes made to methods, processes or procedures, whether internal or external.
  • Coordinate team on periodic Performance/Optimization Meetings with MS Partners to review Network KPIs.
  • Benchmark the performance of various partners to engender effective competition for continued improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reports received from MS Partner (weekly/monthly/Quarterly/adhoc/etc.)
  • Provide support to MS partners for troubleshooting and resolving BSS alarms [Hardware and Software].

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Communication, Electronics, or related fields).
  • Sound knowledge of Mobile Network Planning, Optimization and/or O&M.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years in GSM Network performance/Optimization/Planning.
  • Minimum 6 Years of Managerial experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Mobile Communication.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in ICT/Telecom.
  • Proficiency in RF Optimization tools and procedures and test equipment [ i.e RPNO TEMS, MAPINFO, iManager/M2000, etc.]
  • Hand-on experience with Ericsson, Huawei BSS equipment (BTS, BSC) operations and maintenance.
  • Analytical, statistical and Presentation skills.
  • Sound Excel/Office suits.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems/tools.
  • Cognate Leadership skills.
  • Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels will play an important role.
  • Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to deliver business solution.
  • Ability to motivate and lead.
  • Integrity.
  • Analytical skills.

Job Title: Lead, Automation & Self Service

Location: Lagos

About the Job

  • The role is responsible for developing and managing robust, scalable alternate cheap/zero rated customer self-service channels.
  • Focusing on customer empowerment, business intelligence and analysis on alternate channels to ensure increased customer usage and to drive initiatives that increase usage on services available with minimum human interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualization, development and implementation of the self-service applications over Web, IVR & SMS to reduce call volumes into the call center.
  • Leverage existing self-service product enhancement & maintenance.
  • Highest escalation level in circle in the operational workflow for IT issues.
  • Control application design and plan product versions control.
  • Develop menu trees for modification and customer experience enhancement on the IVR and USSD platforms.
  • Implement changes on the platforms to address product and service changes for IVR, USSD and Web self-care.
  • Ensure content across all platforms address call drivers into the call center.
  • Overhaul of menus on both IVR and USSD to address audio quality and content.
  • Provide options to activate/deactivate services on the IVR.
  • Provide clear and concise messages on the channel.
  • Ensure menu design will provide ease of usage on the channel.
  • Ensure content addresses call drivers into the call center.
  • Manage and modify menu trees in line with dynamic market trends.
  • Continuously drive usage via BTL campaigns with social media campaigns as lead alongside SMS campaigns (Local language and English) OBD campaigns.
  • Creation of accesses for staff to all CRM and Billing applications.
  • Validation of users across the business with access to CRM and Billing applications.
  • Develop policies which govern modifications and utilization on all self-service applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any degree.
  • CBAP.

Experience & Skills:

  • 5 years working experience.
  • CRM & workflow implementation.
  • Quality management Skill.
