Job Summary
- As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and disseminating important health-related information to the general public. This is part of the commitment to strengthen communications to the general public on innovative health intervention programmes, and health promotional materials, dispel and manage misinformation and disinformation about immunization, COVID-19, primary health care services, etc.
- This is a remote position, and candidates from all 36 states and Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Draft content and catchy messages on PHC services across social media (SM) platforms
- Use social media to promote positive health-seeking behavior in the populace
- Conduct health promotion activities
- Create and share health preventive messaging
- Use social media to promote nutrition services
- Keep up with emerging social media trends and explore new platforms or features to reach a broader audience effectively
- Complete other social media responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of second-class honors (lower division) in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, or related disciplines from an approved institution
- 1 – 5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and executing successful social media campaigns
- Experience in content creation, and social media analytics is highly desirable
- Good social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Youtube) and In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Must have a smartphone (minimum of Android 9.0) or IOS (version 10.0)
- Good command of spoken and written English and other local Nigerian languages
- Computer literacy with Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Additional skills in Photoshop and video editors as well as other content creation applications are highly desirable.
