Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Design visually appealing and engaging graphics for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, print materials, and digital ads.
  • Develop and maintain the brand identity, ensuring consistency in design elements, colors, fonts, and styles across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Utilize industry-standard design software and tools to create high-quality graphics and visuals.
  • Adapt designs for different platforms and formats while maintaining their effectiveness and impact.

Social Media Management Responsibilities:

  • Create and curate compelling content for our social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage our followers and attract new audiences.
  • Develop and implement a social media content calendar, ensuring regular and timely postings that align with our marketing strategy and goals.
  • Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and engaging online community.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep our brand’s presence current and relevant.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Research and source relevant content, articles, images, and videos to share across social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with other team members to gather content and assets for marketing campaigns.
  • Create original and eye-catching visuals, such as infographics, gifs, and short videos, to enhance social media engagement.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure that all social media posts and marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand image.
  • Uphold the company’s values and tone of voice across all communication channels.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential areas for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in graphic design and social media management.
  • Proficient with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create compelling content.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest design and social media trends.
